There are many options to keep your feet dry (besides staying indoors). Many work boots are now waterproof and come with or without insulation. Don't assume that all work boots are waterproof. Many are only water resistant and over time this resistance can disappear. Get yourself a waterproof boot that has a waterproof "membrane". These boots are "really waterproof", not water resistant.
